Alternate Ordering Information (Redirecting Traffic)

Manage Products
As we cannot guarantee the safety of other websites, we do not allow product listings to include any links or references to alternative ordering information. Alternate ordering information refers to links, references, phone numbers, social media handles, email addresses, or QR codes that direct users away from our platform to place orders or contact sellers. This includes "calls to action" that encourage customers to leave the TikTok Shop to place orders.

How can I avoid redirecting traffic?

We take the safety of our online users seriously. As such, TikTok Shop may take enforcement actions against sellers who redirect traffic.
To avoid this, here are some helpful guidelines to avoid redirecting traffic:
  • Don't prompt users to click a link in your profile’s bio that links to another site.
  • Don't announce that the product being promoted in the video is available on another website or has a significant discount only available on another website, and mention the site address.
  • Don't mention that customers interested in more details, such as wholesale products, can reach out to you through other platforms.
  • Don't demonstrate how to make a purchase from your other websites.
