What is a TIS Certification?
The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) issues the Thai Industrial Standard (TIS/มอก.) mark to certify that a product meets mandatory safety and quality standards set by the Thai government. Certain product categories are subject to mandatory TIS standards under Thai law. In order to sell certain product categories on TikTok Shop, you are required to hold, submit, and display a valid TIS certification.This article outlines what you should know about TISI standards and actionable steps to follow.

What should I do to comply?
Step 1: Confirm your product requires TIS certification. Check whether your product category is covered by a mandatory TIS standard before importing or listing it on TikTok Shop. If unsure, please consult the TISI official website or your manufacturer.Step 2: Complete your listing in Seller Center.

What does TikTok Shop look for in my listing?
When reviewing your listing, TikTok Shop checks the following:- All mandatory attribute fields are filled in and required product label image are uploaded
- Product label image is in Thai language and contains all required information
- The TIS certification information provided is authentic and valid.
What happens if I fail to meet the requirements?
Listings that are missing or have incomplete TIS information may be removed from the platform. Please note that repeated violations may lead to account deactivation.
