Customer Purchase Limits

Customer Purchase Limits feature lets sellers set minimum and maximum purchase quantities per item (SKU) to better manage inventory and sales. By this, customers will only be able to purchase your product according to the limit you have set for each SKU.

This feature is especially useful for products that require tighter quantity control, such as:
  • limited-stock items
  • promotional products
  • high-demand products
  • products with fulfillment constraints
  • products with per-buyer purchase restrictions

How to Use

Once the feature is enabled, the new setting will appear on Add Product page or Edit Product page in Seller Center PC & App.

When this setting is turned on, the following limit fields will be available:
  • Minimum limit:
    • The minimum quantity a buyer must purchase for the specific SKU in a single order.
  • Maximum limit
    • The maximum quantity a buyer can purchase for a specific SKU.
  • Total limit
    • The total quantity a buyer is allowed to purchase over time for each SKU of that product.
    • For example, if you set a total limit of 10 for a product with 2 SKUs, the customer can buy up to 10 of each SKU across multiple purchases. After the SKU total limit is reached, they can't buy more unless you clear the limits.
    • The total limit must be more than or equal to the maximum limit.
