TikTok Shop's Creator Policy Quiz

TikTok Shop strives to build a positive shopping environment which all users can have confidence in. Understanding platform policies is important to maintaining a trustworthy experience for users. As such, TikTok Shop is introducing our new Policy Quiz feature to help creators understand their violations and reduce their accumulated Violation Points.

What is the Creator Policy Quiz?

The Creator Policy Quiz is a feature that aims to help creators better understand our TikTok Shop platform policies. Creators with e-commerce permissions who have accumulated Violation Points (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines) for their content (videos and/or livestreams) will have the opportunity to take quizzes and earn points to reduce their total Violation Points. Note: This feature will be rolled out to all creators gradually.

Quiz Instructions

• Each policy violation has its own specific quiz
• 1 quiz point will be awarded if the creator scores full marks for a quiz. This point will then reduce your current accumulated Violation Points by 1 point.
• Each quiz will be available from the date the violation ticket was issued and will expire on the last day of the following month.
• You will be able to offset a maximum of 1 violation point every 30 calendar days for each specific type of violation.
• Note: Additional quiz attempts will not offset any Violation Points.

You can access the quiz through the "Quiz benefit" tab within your "Account Standing" (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines) page.

1. Who can take the Policy Quiz?
   1. All creators with e-commerce permissions who have accumulated Violation Points can take the quiz to offset their total Violation Points.
2. How many questions are in each quiz?
   1. Each quiz will have 3 to 5 multiple choice questions (with both single-select and/or multi-select options available).
3. How do I score a point?
   1. 1 point is earned upon scoring full marks for a quiz. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you may attempt the quiz again.
4. What is the maximum number of points I can offset?
   1. You will be able to offset a maximum of 1 violation point every 30 calendar days for each type of violation.
5. Does the quiz expire?
   1. Yes. Each quiz will only be available from the date the violation ticket was issued and will expire on the last day of the following month.
6. If I currently do not have any Violation Points, will I still be able to earn points to offset any Violation Points I may accumulate in the future?
   1. No, however, you may save the quiz and attempt it later for any Violation Points you accumulate in the future, so long as the quiz has not expired.
7. Can I raise an appeal and complete the quiz at the same time?
   1. Yes. The outcome of an appeal and the quiz do not affect each other. If you pass a quiz, 1 point will be removed from your total Violation Points. If your appeal is successful, all penalties will be revoked.
8. My appeal application was successful and my penalty was revoked. Can I still attempt the quiz to earn a point?

Yes. You may still attempt the policy quiz and earn 1 point to reduce any remaining Violation Points.
