With this feature, sellers can have a view of the trending products on the market and get the chance to gain extra benefits from the platform by offering the most attractive price.

Benefits

Key Functions

1. View the matching products in your shop and submit the bidding
   1. In the "Matched" tab, check the recommended products in your shop which have been matched with trending items and their required price
   2. See estimated benefits, including potential traffic and orders uplift

2. Match more products from your shop with trending items for more bids
   1. Other than submitting bids for products already matched by our system, you can search for more trending items in the "To match" tab. Match them with your products if you are selling the exactly same item and bid at a competitive price.

3. Monitor bid status and take action
   1. In the "Your bids" page, keep track of your bid status
      • Win: Your product has won the bid and is currently enjoying winner benefits
      • Reviewing: you have submitted your bid but the match with trending items is currently under review
      • Expired: Auto bid expiry date has expired, you can re-submit to renew it
      • Rejected: you have submitted your bid but the match with trending items has been rejected
      • Withdrawn: you have withdrawn your bids
      • Bidding: you have submitted a valid bids but currently it's not the winner. Continue bidding for upcoming cycles
      • Lost: Otherwise
   2. Take actions
      1. Withdraw: you can withdraw your bids at anytime
      2. Edit: you can change bid price at anytime. However, for a current winner, bid price change will not take effect on the current cycle. Instead, you will bid with the new price for all upcoming cycles
      3. View your winner history: if your products won in the past, you will be able to view actual traffic and order benefits on the bid detail page after the cycle ends.

Bid for the "Matching products"

Matching products are trending products on the market that the system identifies as exactly the same products as those in your shop, which you, as a seller, can directly bid to offer a better price for that product.
To submit a bid, sellers need to click on the "Bid now" before the countdown ends, and set a bidding price for each SKU, and it should be more attractive than the required prices, so that sellers will have a chance to win the bid. Sellers can track the bidding result on the "Your bids" after the bidding cycle has finished.

Match Products Manually

In the To match tab, you can view a list of trending products and take action to manually match them with products in your shop, including setting the bid price. You also have the option to filter by relevant categories or search for specific products by name to streamline the matching process.

Track Bidding Results on the "Your bids " tab

On the "Your bids" tab, sellers will be able to track all the submissions and follow up the bidding results, as well as the performance.

• Win: Your product has won the bid and is currently enjoying winner benefits
• Reviewing: you have submitted your bid but the match with trending items is currently under review
• Expired: Auto bid expiry date has expired, you can re-submit to renew it
• Rejected: you have submitted your bid but the match with trending items has been rejected
• Withdrawn: you have withdrawn your bids
• Bidding: you have submitted a valid bids but currently it's not the winner. Continue bidding for upcoming cycles
• Lost: You have lost the bids and the trending item is not currently bidding.

Click on the view bid to have the product's performance details.

Withdraw or Edit Your Bid

It is possible for sellers to withdraw or edit their bid. The difference is that if the bid is not the current winner, it will be withdrawn directly after the seller submitted the request. While if the bid already won, all winner benefits will be removed immediately upon withdrawal.
Withdraw winning bids:Sellers can also edit their bidding price. However, for a current winner, bid price change will not take effect on the current cycle. Instead, you will bid at the new price for all upcoming cycles. Everytime you edit and submit your bids, the auto bid expiry date will be renew for another 30 days.

FAQ

1. After winning the bid, when will the bid price and benefits become active?

If the bid status has been changed to Win, it means the benefit has been applied and currently ongoing. For the other bid status that shows Bidding, you will see the count down status to see bid opening timing and benefit effective timing.

2. Can I withdraw my bid after I've won?

Yes, you can withdraw your bid. However, do note that your withdrawal request will undergo a review process. During that period, your bid price will continue to be active. After it's approved, you will lose your winning benefits.

3. I have matching products from my shop but they're not appearing. What should I do?

Your products may not appear if they have different names or images compared to the trending product. You can match your products manually on the To match tab.
