• For TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator Accounts which have yet to verify their age: Upon entering the TikTok Shop Creator Center on your app, you may receive a pop-up invitation to complete the age verification process:

• If you are unable to find the notification, you may also scan the following QR code to initiate the age verification process. Do note that the intended creator account must be registered in Thailand to scan this QR code.

1. Fill in your date of birth. Select one of the three age verification methods (note that you will only have to successfully complete ONE of the three methods).

2. If you select the "Facial Age Estimation" age verification method, follow the steps which appear on the screen to confirm your age.

3. Receive your results (instant verification):
   1. Successful age verification
   2. Unsuccessful age verification

• Once you have successfully completed the age verification process (i.e. the creator has been verified to be at least 18 years old), the account will officially be eligible for TikTok Shop e-commerce permissions, which includes advertising and promoting products in videos uploaded on TikTok and promoting products during TikTok livestreams.

• If you have failed the age verification due to reasons including the creator being under 18 years old, or failing the liveliness check, the account will not be eligible for TikTok Shop e-commerce permissions.

• If you are unable to verify your age via the "Facial Age Estimation" method due to technical issues (e.g. Unsupported browser issues or technical errors), you can try to verify your age again up to 3 times via the same method.

• If you are unable to verify your age using the "Facial Age Estimation" method after multiple attempts, you may retry via the other two methods (Credit Card Authorisation OR Selfie with ID) to complete the age verification process.

1. Fill in your date of birth. Select one of the three age verification methods (note that you will only have to successfully complete ONE of the three methods).

2. If you select the "Credit Card Authorization" age verification method, follow the steps which appear on the screen to confirm your age.

3. Receive your results (within 15 minutes, result will be shared via In-app notification or Email):
   1. Successful age verification
   2. Unsuccessful age verification
   3. Appeal process (if unsuccessful)

• If you have failed the age verification due to the creator being under 18 years old, the account will not be eligible for TikTok Shop e-commerce permissions. Note that you will not be able to retry the age verification process at this stage.
• If you are unable to verify your age via the "Credit Card Authorization" method due to any of the following reasons, you can try to verify your age again up to 6 times via the same method:

You didn't complete the 3rd-party authentication in time.

1. Your card is invalid.

• If you are unable to verify your age using the "Credit Card Authorisation" method after multiple attempts, you may retry via the other two methods (Facial Age Estimation OR Selfie with ID) to complete the age verification process. Note that this does not apply to unsuccessful verification due to the creator being under 18 years old (i.e. appeals will not be allowed in those instances).

• If you have failed the age verification due to the creator being under 18 years old, the account will not be eligible for TikTok Shop e-commerce permissions. Note that you will not be able to retry the age verification process at this stage.
• If you are unable to verify your age via the "Selfie with ID" method due to any of the following reasons, you can try to verify your age again up to 6 times via the same method:

1. The document you uploaded is invalid.
2. You don't meet TikTok's age requirement.
3. The face in your photo doesn't match your ID.
4. The birthdate you entered doesn't match your ID.
5. The unique code in your photo is incorrect.
6. Your document doesn't meet our requirements.

• If you are unable to verify your age using the "Selfie with ID" method after multiple attempts, you may retry via the other two methods (Facial Age Estimation OR Credit Card Authorisation) to complete the age verification process. Note that this does not apply to unsuccessful verification due to the creator being under 18 years old (i.e. appeals will not be allowed in those instances).
