This article informs what happens, why it helps, and what you need to do (one time) so your Account Manager (AM) can support you faster with Seller Center Delegation Mode on Desktop.

What is Delegation Mode?

Delegation Mode allows your AM to temporarily log in to your Seller Center to provide assistance under your awareness without asking for your password.
Once enabled, AM will be granted read-only access for 1 hour per session to look at pages on your behalf. They will not be able to change any setting. Also, every login session is visible to you and recorded.

Why should you enable Delegation Mode?

  • Faster problem-solving: AM can see what you see without sending back and forth emails
  • Less screen-sharing: no need to schedule a call or wait for screenshots
  • Proactive tips: AM can spot listing issues or penalty flags while browsing

How to enable Delegation Mode?

Enable set up (one-time only)

  1. Go to Seller Center > Account Setting > Delegation Mode and toggle "On" the master switch to enable this feature

  1. Select the scope to allow your AM to view
  • Seller Center (mandatory)
  • Affiliate Center
Tick on authorization

  1. In case of scope change in the future, you may select "Change Scope" to add/remove scope

Delegation Record & Termination

  1. Notice a yellow banner at the top “your AM email prefix is viewing your account – 00:47:12 left”
  • You can click on Abort Login any time. The AM is kicked out immediately.

  1. Receive an inbox message telling you who logged in and when.
  1. On the Delegation Mode page, the Delegation Record shows timestamp of when the AM visited your Seller Center.

  1. Can the AM change my prices or modify my orders?
No. The system blocks every write action. If they try, they'll see: “Delegation login prohibits any modification operations”
  1. Can multiple AMs log into my account at the same time?
No. Only 1 delegated session is allowed per account at a time. The AM must be assigned to your shop.
  1. Can I still use my account while the AM is inside?
Yes. You stay logged in and can operate normally.
  1. What happens if I switch off Seller Center scope or Delegation mode while the AM is inside my Seller Center?
That session continues. The AM will only be blocked next time they try to log in.
  1. How do I end AM's session?
Click "Abort session." The session will end immediately for your AM.
  1. Will I know when the session ends?
Yes. You get a pop-up and an inbox message notification about the recently ended session.
