What are E-Commerce Permissions?

Creators with TikTok e-commerce permissions are able to monetize their content by promoting products on TikTok in the following ways:
  1. Displaying products on their profile page
  2. Advertising and promoting products within video content
  3. Promoting products during Livestreams

Applying for E-commerce Permissions

Creators can apply for e-commerce permissions from their profile page:
Step 1: Select "Creator tools" Step 2: Select "TikTok Shop" and apply E-commerce permissions will be approved if the application is successful

Content shared or uploaded by all creators must follow our TikTok Shop Content Guidelines (UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Cross-border) and TikTok Community Guidelines. Creators who violate our guidelines will face enforcement actions, including but not limited to a temporary restriction or permanent ban on e-commerce permission access. How to Submit an Appeal

If a creator believes that enforcement actions were taken against them in error, they may file an appeal through the Account Standing page.
