Starting from 00:00, 1 April, 2026, Thailand time (GMT+7), the platform adjusts the Marketplace Commission Fee and introduces a reduction policy for Marketplace sellers using GMV Max.


The formula is as follows: Commission Fee = (Item Price - Seller Discount) * Fee Rate

What is Commission Fee
Commission Fee is the amount that TikTok Shop charges to all sellers in Thailand based on the category of a product.The Commission Fee is different for Marketplace Sellers and Mall Sellers. This article provides details of the fee rate for each product sub-category, how to calculate the fee of your order, and other FAQs for Marketplace sellers. How to calculate Marketplace Commission Fee by product category?
Formula
This commission fee is calculated from the item price, minus any seller discounts. Shipping fee and TikTok Shop platform discounts are not included as part of the calculation of the Marketplace Commission fee.The formula is as follows: Commission Fee = (Item Price - Seller Discount) * Fee Rate

Marketplace Commission Fee Reduction for Sellers using GMV Max
Reduced Platform Commission Rate for the Use of GMV Max
From 1 April, 2026, the platform introduces a reduction policy for Marketplace sellers using GMV Max. If a Marketplace seller's GMV Max spend (excludes Ads credit) exceeds 3% of their gross revenue on the platform in the past 30 days, all of their shop's orders, can enjoy a 1.07% reduction on Marketplace Commission Fee rate (tax inclusive).Please refer to the table below for an illustration of the reduction rule.
Note:
- All products prohibited from using GMV Max, according to the laws of Thailand, will also be excluded from the gross revenue calculation for commission 1.07% reduction on Marketplace Commission Fee rate (tax inclusive).

How to Check Reduced Commission
To view available platform commission fee reductions for the use of GMV Max, sellers can check their Seller Center > Marketing > Shop Ads.Sellers can check whether they enjoy lower commission rates via the section "Unlock commission waiver for non ads order by maintaining ads take rate daily" on the GMV Max page.

For each date, sellers can check the following:- Gross revenue, ad spend and ad take rate
- Commission reduction status:
- Not met: no commission reduction applied on that date.
- Met: for sellers whose take rate exceeds 3%, all of their shop's orders, whether each specific product uses GMV Max or not, enjoy the lower commission rates for that date.
Sellers can check the reduction amount for each order in the finance statement.

In addition to the Platform Commission fee based on product category, all pre-order items are subject to an additional 2.14% pre-order service fee (tax inclusive) for each item sold.

- Who will be charged the Marketplace Commission Fee?
- All TikTok Shop sellers on TikTok Shop platform in Thailand.
- The Mall commission fee is applicable only to Mall sellers; and the Marketplace commisison fee is applicable only to Marketplace sellers.
- How will I be charged the Marketplace Commission Fee?
- The Marketplace Commission Fee charges will be deducted directly from the order settlement. Only paid orders that have been successfully delivered to and accepted by the buyer are considered valid. Cancelled or fully returned or refunded orders are not considered valid orders.
- Where can I check the details of the Marketplace Commission Fee amount charged for my order?
- For orders that have yet to be settled, you may see them in TikTok Shop Seller Center > Finance > Transactions > To settle > View Details > Estimated Settlement Details

- If the entire order is returned, the full commission fee will be refunded to the seller. If part of the order is refunded, the commission fee charged on the refunded item (s) will be refunded to the seller.
- Where is TikTok Shop platform discount in the calculation of the Marketplace Commission Fee?
- The calculation of the Marketplace Commission Fee does not consider any TikTok Shop platform discount.
- Since this is a chargeable fee, will I receive an invoice describing the full Marketplace Commission Fee amount TikTok Shop has charged me for the month?
- Yes, you will receive an invoice on the 8th of the following month for the previous month's billing period. You may visit Finance > Invoice Center > Platform Service Fee to download the invoice.
