Switched/recycled listings, where a product listing is heavily edited or reused for a different product, are strictly prohibited on the platform. These practices can compromise the integrity of product information, as the original reviews and fulfillment statistics may no longer reflect the new product.

What constitutes Switched/Recycled Listing?

A switched/recycled listing occurs when you change key product details (such as the title, category, image, description, etc.) on the same product listing to represent a completely different product.

What you can do to avoid Switched/Recycled Listing:

• Create a New Listing for a New Product:

When introducing a new product, always create a completely new listing. This ensures that the reviews, ratings, and order statistics displayed on the product page accurately reflect the specific product being sold, rather than those of an older version. By doing so, you maintain transparency and provide customers with reliable information about the product they are considering

• Making Minor Changes Without Altering the Product:

If you make only minor adjustments to the product images, price, description, or SKU—without changing the actual product itself—this is not considered a switched listing. These types of updates are generally acceptable as long as the product being sold remains the same and the listing continues to reflect accurate information.

What happens if I breach these guidelines?

If you are found to violate these guidelines, you may have enforcement actions taken against your account. You should note that repeated offenses will result in more significant penalties.
