1.1 Introduction

The TikTok Shop Inactive Seller Policy has been drafted with the express purpose of:
  • Building a positive shopping environment on TikTok Shop; and
  • Providing a shopping experience that consumers can have confidence in.
All sellers who offer products for sale via TikTok Shop must abide by this policy and our Merchant Terms of Service.

1.2 Scope

Our TikTok Shop Inactive Seller Policy applies to all sellers on TikTok Shop. The guidelines on this page are updated periodically. Sellers should check this page regularly to ensure that they are in compliance with our current guidelines.
  1. Inactive sellers

An inactive seller refers to any seller who does not actively manage or have login activity on their TikTok Shop account for the last 30 calendar days. Management or login activity includes (but is not limited to) :
  • Modifying product information.
  • Processing orders (i.e. changing order statuses).
  • Logging in to the Seller Center.
  • Responding to customer service queries.
  1. Deactivation of Product Listings (Inactive sellers)

TikTok Shop reviews all sellers' activity periodically.
  • If a seller is inactive for a continuous period of 30 calendar days, their product listings will be automatically deactivated and no longer visible on our platform.
    • Sellers will see the product's status on their product page as "deactivated".
    • Buyers and Creators will not be able to access and view products. Deactivated products will not be made visible on our platform.
    • Seller will receive email notification if the products already deactivated.
  • TikTok shop will notify the seller via email on the 15th day, 25th day, and 28th day since their last login before their product listings are deactivated.
  1. Reactivation of Seller Account

Sellers can log in to their Seller Center account to reactivate their products. Please click here (Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore) to reactivate your products.
