What are Product Certificates & Attributes?

Product Certificates & Attributes are product information that help customers make an informed decision before purchasing.
These can come in the form of product labels, certificates, registration numbers or other government-issued documentation and aid in:
  • Describing a product's properties or functions
  • Providing proof of a product's regulatory compliance
  • Informing customers of any potential safety risks related to a product's functionality and use

Mandatory Product Certificates & Attributes

We may ask you to fill in Mandatory Product Certificates & Attributes for certain product categories on the Seller Center listing page. Sellers who wish to list products with Mandatory Product Certificates & Attributes must fill in the requested certificates & attributes of their product on the Seller Center listing page. All submissions must adhere to the submission requirements.
IMPORTANT! If the certificates & attributes are not submitted in accordance to the requirements, the product listing will be rejected.Subject to internal screening criteria, sellers may be requested to update their existing listings with the necessary product attributes if they offer products in the categories above.

How Can Sellers Upload Certificates & Attributes For New Product Listings?

During the product listing phase, sellers will be asked to upload certificates and fill in attributes depending on the product category selected.
For example, if Food is selected, the following fields will appear:

How Can Sellers Upload Certificates & Attributes For Products That Are Already Listed?

To fill in the Product Certificates & Attributes for products that have been previously listed, sellers can:
  1. Go to Seller Center home page and select "Products" > "Manage Products".
  2. Click "Edit".

  1. Populate the requested product mandatory attributes under the ''Product Compliance'' heading
  2. Click "Update".

Mandatory Product Certificates & Attributes Submission Requirements

General Requirements
  • All submitted certificates or attributes must meet the requirements listed below.
  • Submitted product certificates or labels must be clear, legible, and complete.
    • Blur, illegible and incomplete documentation will be rejected by the platform.
  • Submitted product attributes must be in the format listed below
    • Product attributes not in the required format will be rejected by the platform.

TIS-Regulated Products

Thai Industrial Standard (TIS) refers to the product quality requirements that the Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has established for manufacturers.
Products with the TIS certification mark are products that have met the TIS safety and quality standards. TIS covers various products used in daily life, such as electrical appliances, automotive parts and commodity products. The TIS certification mark may be included on the product label or packaging together with the TIS number, manufacturer name and a QR code for verification.

Label-Controlled Goods

Label-controlled goods are products that may cause harm to health, body or mind from the use or the condition of the products. As such, labeling of the product will be beneficial to consumers in knowing the important information about the products. Therefore, some types of products are designated as label-controlled products. Labels for any product types must be in Thai language and may also display foreign languages.
