How to Set Delivery Option for Fruits: Fresh Delivery

Long delivery times increase the chance of fruit rotting, spoiling, or being damaged, which can lead to buyer complaints. To help sellers reduce these risks, TikTok Shop has introduced Fresh Delivery, a dedicated logistics service for time-sensitive fruit products to improve delivery times, maintain fruit quality, and improve buyer experience.
Here's a quick guide on Fresh Delivery and how to set up your delivery settings when selling fruits on TikTok Shop.

What is Fresh Delivery?

Fresh Delivery is a delivery option for fresh fruits that is only available for routes where delivery can be completed within 3 days from the pickup date. It is recommended for:
  1. Shops that sell only fruits: Sellers whose entire shop consists of fresh fruit products.
  2. Shops that sell fruits alongside other products: Sellers whose shop is a mix of fresh fruit and non-fruit items are recommended to set Fresh Delivery for fruit listings.
Note:
  • Sellers are recommended to use Fresh Delivery and Next-Day Delivery when shipping fruits. Sellers may also use Bulky Shipping or Shipped by Seller when available.
  • Sellers are recommended to disable Standard Shipping when shipping fruits to avoid long delivery times and spoilage.

Fresh Delivery Eligibility Requirements

Only sellers identified as eligible by the platform will see Fresh Delivery available on Seller Center.
  • Product Category: Fruit
  • Weight: Max 20KG
  • Size: Max 100 x 100 x 100 cm (Max 100 cm per side, max sum of dimensions 180cm)
  • Shipping Route: Routes where delivery can be completed within 3 days from the pickup date.

How to Set Up Delivery Options

For shops that sell only fruits

  1. Go on Seller Center > Orders > Shipping Settinegs
  2. At Warehouse level, disable "Standard Shipping"
  3. Enable "Fresh Delivery"

For shops that sell fruits alongside other products

  1. Go on Seller Center > Products > Manage Product and locate your fruit listings.
    1. For new fruit listings, click "Add product" on the top right.

  1. For existing fruit listings, select the listing and click edit.

    1. On the product editing page, click "Shipping"

    1. Under "Delivery options" > select "Custom" > disable "Standard shipping" > enable "Fresh Delivery"

    1. Click "Update" to save your new settings.
